Ed
Ed has been a member of the dietary wait staff for 2½ years. He loves interacting with the residents and feeling needed. Some of his favorite Shores’ activities are the Christmas Party and Theme Meals.
Ed has one daughter. His hobbies include computers, fitness, music and collecting hats! As you can see he is a man of many interests.
Latoya
Latoya has been a dietary wait staff member of The Shores team for 4 years. She loves all the residents she gets to see every day. Latoya really enjoys the Christmas Party and yearly bazaars.
Latoya has one daughter and loves to read.
Shirley
Shirley has been on The Shores housekeeping team for 10 years. She feels that the staff and residents she meets make it feel like one big family. Shirley’s favorite activities include going to church, reading the Bible and getting together with her family. She absolutely loves her job and The Shores.
Shirley has been married to her husband Stanley for 31 years. They have one daughter and two grandchildren. She especially looks forward to The Shores during the holiday season when the beautiful decorations add a special festive air.
Brian
Brian has been the Dining Room Manager at The Shores for 4 years. He is fascinated by residents’ stories and funny anecdotes from days gone by. He appreciates the chef center stage events held at the community.
Brian enjoys film, concerts, video games and cars. He has a five-year-old boxer named Chasey Lain and a new boxer puppy, Lord Vader.
Sylvia
Sylvia, a member of the dietary wait staff, has worked at The Shores for an astounding 44 years. She plays bingo in her spare time. She loves the residents and they are what keep her going.
Shirley has been married for 46 years and has two sons. Her motto must be “When you find a good thing stick with it!”
Jim
Jim, our fitness coordinator, has been part of The Shores team for 5 years. He loves using his skills as a fitness trainer to help residents maintain their independence. He formerly owned a health club, but is happy to have found such a rewarding job.
Jim has been married for 27 years, has a thirteen-year-old German Shepherd and goldfish. At work he takes joy in training the residents based on their fitness levels and seeing improvements. In his spare time Jim enjoys sailing, music and sports.
Tami
Tami is one of the nurses in our healthcare residence. She started as a CNA is 1998 and became a nurse in 2000. She considers herself fortunate to have such a rewarding job that allows her to put a smile on someone’s face. Tami appreciates hearing residents stories, because they have such interesting lives and enjoys seeing residents light up and sing along during the Musical Happy Hours.
Tami’s three sons are her pride and joy. All are athletic and she relishes being a sports mom, cheering them and their teams to victory! She also skis and snowboards, but calls the beach her favorite place.
Clinton
Clinton is one of our cooks and has been part of the team at The Shores for 5 years. He’s at home in the kitchen and finds preparing meals for the residents rewarding. Clinton delights in special events with residents.
Clinton’s hobbies include music, learning to speak German, going to the beach, sleeping, enjoying time with family and friends, Japanese cooking, and skiing. Sounds like a man of many talents!
Jen
Jen has been a CMA/CNA in Memory Support for 3 1/2 years. Helping people makes her day and she learns something each day from her co-workers and residents. She savors trivia games and one-on-one time with residents. Jen is happy to be part of such a great community with so many lovely and different people.
Jen has two dogs, Rocco and Bella Rosa. Her favorite hobbies are movies, reading, visiting with family and friends and going to amusement parks. Her motto is “I’m up for trying pretty much anything!”
Ralph
Ralph, Food Production Manager/Assistant Food Service Director, has been part of The Shores team for 10 years. Making the residents happy and seeing their smiling faces because of his fine cuisine brings him great satisfaction.
Ralph has two daughters and two cats. In his spare time he enjoys sports, fishing and cooking.
Joann
Joann has been with The Shores for 5 years and is presently a CMA. She feels happiest when helping people and talking with them. She especially enjoys walking with residents to the gift shop.
Joann has been married for 30 years and has two children, a son and a daughter. Three dogs complete her active household. Joann likes to ride her bicycle and walk.
Isabel
Isabel has been with The Shores for 5 years as the Executive Secretary. She participates in the Wednesday pinochle group with residents Don and Millie and our bookkeeper, Bunny. She relishes coming to work to interact with co-workers and residents.
Isabel has been married for 36 years and has two daughters. Benny the dog is also a part of their family. Outside of work Isabel enjoys volleyball, dancing, bike riding and playing cards.
Beverly
Beverly, the Accounts Receivable Bookkeeper at The Shores, has been part of the team for 25 years. She is a member of the Wednesday pinochle group, which includes residents Don and Millie and Isabel, the Executive Secretary.
Beverly has been married for 43 years, has three children and seven grandchildren. Her interests include the outdoors golfing, boating and gardening.
Stephanie
Stephanie has worked at The Shores for 2½ year as the External Case Manager. She truly enjoys the people she works with on a day-to-day basis.
Married for 40 years, Stephanie has two sons. They share their home with an eight-year-old Rottweiler named Bachus. In her spare time Stephanie reads and does crossword puzzles.
Teresa
Teresa has held the Marketing Assistant position at The Shores for 10 years. She appreciates the opportunity to show prospective residents and their families The Shores’ warmth and welcoming family culture. The Halloween party for residents ranks as her favorite Shores activity.
Teresa has been married for 38 years and has three children and three grandchildren. Outside of work she enjoys running, reading, hiking in the mountains of Pennsylvania, and attending cultural events in Philadelphia.
