Alice
Alice has been a Marketing Associate at Pitman Manor for the last five years and is a founding member of the
LifeChoices Committee. She comes from a public relations background and states, "I like the fact that I can
express my creativity whether its writing plays or comedy skits or just acting in them." Alice is an avid
reader and frequently shares her books with residents who have similar literary tastes. Married with two
daughters, Alice stays busy outside of work as well. She is active in her church and loves baking and cooking.
Residents and co-workers are frequently the recipients of her tasty kitchen creations.
Jessica
Jessica, an activities assistant at Pitman Manor, is a relative newcomer but has already made a positive impact on the lives
of the residents here. "Nothing makes me happier than to see the residents' faces light up when we do an activity they
particularly enjoy. Their smiles and laughter make it all worthwhile." Off the job Jessica is active with her church, enjoys
movies and country line dancing as well as spending time with her family and friends.
Jim
Jim has been the Executive Director of Pitman Manor for the last five years and has 30 years of healthcare experience to his
credit, having started his career as a nursing assistant at the age of 16. Jim loves coming to work because of the "Outstanding
team of individuals that are more like a family than just coworkers." Outside of the office Jim has been very active in the
Masonic fraternity and currently serves as the President for the Rotary Club of Pitman. Jim also enjoys music, has been known
to play the saxophone and enjoys singing in the staff/resident Manor choir.
Rich
Rich has worked as a Master Chef for Morrison Senior Dining Services at Pitman Manor for the last six years. Cooking is his life. "I started cooking at 14 years old and I am simply passionate about it. I like making the dining experience memorable for our residents." Outside of the kitchen this married father of two children relaxes by watching sports, his favorites are baseball, boxing and football and of course cooking, cooking and more cooking.
Sue
Sue has worked in the Pitman Manor dining rooms for the last ten years serving up some good humor as well as tasty entrees.
"What can I say? I just love our residents." This hard working mother of two enjoys chilling out with her children and catching
an occasional episode of Grey's Anatomy.
Wayne
Wayne has worked in the Maintenance Department for the last four years. In addition to his work-related duties, Wayne finds
time to organize the annual "Packed with Love" project where volunteers collect and ship goodie boxes to troops serving overseas.
Wayne, who served in the US Navy, enjoys sharing his military experiences with other veterans who live at Pitman Manor. "I enjoy
interacting with the residents on a daily basis. My friends think I am crazy when I say work is fun." Off the job, Wayne and his
wife Maria are active in their church; enjoy bowling and watching NASCAR races both on TV and in person.
