membership consists of over 5,000 not-for-profit nursing homes, continuing care retirement communities,
senior housing facilities, assisted living and community services. AAHSA organizations serve more than
one million older persons of all income levels, creed and races.

The New Jersey Association of Non-Profit Homes for the Aging (NJANPHA) is the statewide association of
not-for-profit organizations which are dedicated to providing and enhancing quality of life services to
the diverse aging population. The Association encourages cooperation with communities and other entities,
both public and private, interested in the aging.

The Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (CCAC), a not-for-profit organization founded in 1985, is
the nation's only accrediting body for aging services continuums, including continuing care retirement
communities. CCAC's accreditation program is based on the belief that accreditation promotes and maintains
quality and integrity in the aging services profession.
The Commission's mission is to inspire excellence in organizations dedicated to serving older adults through
continuums of care using the commission’s standards and educational tools for advancing innovation and continuous improvement.
EAGLE www.umassociation.org
The standard of excellence for the United Methodist Association, The Educational Assessment Guidelines Leading
toward Excellence, or EAGLE Accreditation Program, is designed for faith based, health and wholeness organizations
to enhance the quality of services provided. It utilizes voluntary self-assessment and peer review processes
based upon principles and goals to promote excellence in Christian Ministry.
EAGLE is recognized as the only Spiritually centered accrediting body. EAGLE offers cooperative accreditation
process opportunities with the Council on Accreditation as well as the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission.
