Development Database Administrator                                                         

Home Office

UMH-NJ Foundation is seeking a full-time Database Administrator.  Responsible for serving as the point person for all Donor Database activites within the office. Perform data entry to maintain database and keep current. Resolve inconsistencies or inaccurate information within the database to improve functionality. Retrieve reports as needed. Assist with training of others in the office to become proficient in the use of the database. Generate mailing lists and letters as requested. Track donations and gifts to thank donors and future donation needs. Attend organization events as required.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree and min. 2-5 years of administrative support experience required along with expert knowledge of Raiser's Edge software and donor database functionalities.  Must possess exceptional customer service and organizational skills, strong attention-to-detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Working knowledge of business math and strong writing and editing skills required.

Major and Planned Giving Officer

Position is responsible for identifying, engaging, soliciting and stewarding major and planned gift prospects and donors in order to strengthen donor engagement with the philanthropic mission of the United Methodist Homes and to broaden the culture of philanthropy within and throughout the United Methodist Homes system.

 

Requirements include a Bachelor's  Degree and five years experience in fundraising, marketing, sales, public relations, or customer service. Seven+ years experience in a fundraising context preferred. Prior nonprofit experience desired with an emphasis on relationship management. CFRE and AFP involvement/leadership preferred. Corporate Director of Clinical Services

Responsible for leadership, advocacy and counseling for UMH system DON's and other associates in the delivery of clinical services, including quality standards, strategic planning and regulatory compliance.  Liaison for system-wide programs and partnerships that impact UMH communities clinically.

Required is BSN, Master's preferred, along with min. 10 years exp. in a senior nurse manager role within a LTC setting.  GCNS-BC or CCRN preferred.

Director of Mission & Pastoral Care                                                                    

The Shores

Responsible for the development and implementation of a continuum of pastoral services and programs aimed at raising the identification of and association with UMH-NJ mission and values.  Directs activities which meet the spirtual and religious needs of the residents, their families and staff.  Provides chaplain services according to need.

Required is a college education through the seminary culminating in ordination and min. of 3-5 years of relevant work experience managing a similar function along with the ability to be appointed within the Greater NJ Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.  Prior exp. ministering to the geriatric healthcare population and 3-5 CPE units preferred.

MDS Coordinator

Pitman Manor        

Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all Resident Assessment Instrument documents as required by regulatory agencies.  Conducts concurrent MDS review to assure it accurately reflects resident status.  Ensures appropriate reimbursement for Medicare and Medicaid residents by integrating all resident care services.

Required is RN NJ licensure along with min. two years of LTC clinical nursing exp. including exp. with RAI/MDS completion, reimbursement, clinical resource utilization and/or case management.

Social Worker - Assisted Living

Pitman Manor

Responsible for providing psychosocial support to residents and family members throughout the continuum of care.  Acts as a guide and advocate for the residents and participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team.  Participates in weekly U/R, Level of Care and Care Plan meetings and provides case management services as needed.  Required is a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology or Sociology and NJCSW along with minimum 1-2 years exp. in an Assisted Living or Long Term Care setting.

Repsonsible for preparing food and meals for community residents, serving as a specialty cook in accordance with recipes and specific methods applicable to the type of cooking involved.  Preapares special menus in accordance with dietary restrictions as needed.  Responsible for maintaining all sanitary guidelines, safety rules and inventory control requirements.
