Administrative Assistant

United Methodist Homes of NJ is seeking an Administrative Assistant for a 60-unit senior housing community in Ocean City, NJ. Manages the pre-admission process, addresses resident issues, maintains A/R and A/P, assists with marketing and move-in/out process, answers phones, contacts vendors and prepares reports. Uses software for tracking work order and maintenance activities, keeps document on fire safety inspections and other inspections, assists in apartment inspections and follows up on re-inspection for apartments that are not in compliance. Assists with and participates in community events. Supports the Maintenance staff as well as the Social Service staff. Performs other duties as required. H.S. graduate with some college preferred but appropriate experience may be substituted. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Bookkeeper

Corporate Director of Compliance and Risk Management

The successful candidate functions as an independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance/risk issues/concerns within the organization; ensures that the organization is in complaince with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies and that organizational policies and procedures are being followed; and manages the liability of the organization through claims coordination, risk assessment, reduction, and education. Responsibilities also include promoting an awareness and understanding of positive ethical and moral principles consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the organization and those required by federal and state law. Candidate must be an RN, have a minimum of 3-5 years related experience in the field of healthcare compliance or worker's compensation and have OSHA 30 hour certification.

Director of Wellness
Francis Asbury Manor

Responsible for the direction of personal care services for residents consistent with philosophy of assisted living, United Methodist Homes policies and procedures and with applicable state laws and regulations. Requires a strong clinical background, computer skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Should be able to manage, direct, evaluate, and problem solve. Requirements are New Jersey registered professional nurse and four years of nursing supervisory experience. Assisted living and/or long-term care experience preferred.

United Methodist Homes of NJ is seeking a full-time Social Services Coordinator for a senior housing community in Essex County, NJ.  Responsibilities include linking residents to supportive services, monitoring the provision of services, assessing needs, intervening in problematic situations and creating and coordinating social and educational programs.  Some travel is required.

Successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the social  services field.  Bachelor’s degree and knowledge of entitlement programs and senior care issues is preferred.
