Patricia
Patricia has been the bookkeeper at Bristol Glen for 15 years. She loves hearing all the great stories from our residents who offer so much history and learns something with every conversation.
Patricia has been married to Tom for 29 years, has three children and five grandchildren. “Being a grandma is the best”, she exclaims. She and her husband also have a 12-year-old huskie named AJ. Patricia remembers thinking when we moved from Methodist Manor she wasn’t sure if the “family feel” would remain. She is happy to report that it is alive and well at Bristol Glen.
Denise
Denise is the marketing director and has worked at Bristol Glen for 3½ years. She really enjoys the residents and
helping families through the transition to life at Bristol Glen. Denise finds it especially rewarding to observe a
new resident enjoying an activity, making new friends or learning a new skill in a class.
Denise has been married to Phil for 30 years and together they have three children; Philip 26, David 24 and Michelle 18.
She enjoys traveling and has taken several Caribbean cruises along with travel to Europe to visit Italy, England and France.
She and her daughter Michelle, a member of our dining services team, look forward to their frequent visits to New York to
take in a museum or Broadway musical.
John
John, our chaplain, has been part of our lives for a little over 1 year. He loves being a member of the Bristol Glen
family and getting to know such a diverse group of people. John relishes spending time with residents and listening to their life stories.
John has been married for 25 years. He and his wife share their home with two cats, Pedro and Maggie. His hobbies include
drawing, gardening, genealogy, military and early American history, reading, running and walking.
Rowena
Rowena is a CNA at Bristol Glen, a position she has held for 2 years. The love she gives and gets from residents
makes her day and she looks forward to coming to work. She is thankful to work for a company that urges employees to seek self improvement.
Rowena has been married for 12 years. She has two daughters and four stepsons. Her favorite activities include
watching her children play sports, cooking, dancing and playing scrabble and boggle.
Joe
Joe, our maintenance director, has been a member of the Bristol Glen team for 14 years. He is a former military man who enjoys the patriotic activities Bristol Glen provides, such as the ceremony honoring member of our armed forces on Veteran’s Day.
Joe has been married for 5 years and has five children. In his spare time he enjoys motorcycle riding.
Frank
Frank is our director of dining services and has been a member of the team for 1 year. He loves coming to work every
day because it feels like he is with his extended family. He finds the staff and residents friendly and easy to talk to.
Frank has been married for 16 years, has two sons, and we can’t forget a guinea pig named Cookie. He is a former member
of the United States Navy, a career of which he is proud and gave him the opportunity to travel the world. Frank’s
hobbies include computers, movies, paranormal investigation and history.
Scott
Scott is the executive director of Bristol Glen and has been a part of the United Methodist Homes team for 18 years. Scott is honored to serve and fulfill the needs of residents on a daily basis. He loves being able to spend time with residents and learn about their lives. Scott finds the holidays an especially wonderful time at Bristol Glen.
Scott and Jackie have one son. Their home is also shared by two dogs and one cat. In his spare time Scott enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with his son. Every day when Scott comes to work he is blessed to have an additional 200 grandmothers and grandfathers in his life.
Cathy
Cathy, the bookkeeper at Bristol Glen, is a brand new member of the team. She loves the friendly atmosphere created by the residents and staff. Cathy gets a kick out of talking with residents and hearing their “old time” stories.
Cathy has been married for 28 years and has four children. She rounds out her family with two cockatiels. In her spare time Cathy bakes cookies and reads.
Suzanne
Suzanne has been part of Bristol Glen for 6 years in the activity department, but 6 month ago joined the marketing team as our marketing assistant. Making the residents happy and seeing their smiling faces brings joy to her day. Suzanne especially loves running the cooking classes at Bristol Glen.
Suzanne has been married for 25 years and has three sons. She and her husband also have three dogs who call their house home. Suzanne’s hobbies include nature walks, yoga, cooking, shopping, flower arranging and gardening.
